The 2024 Libera Awards will take place on Monday, June 10th at the beautiful Gotham Hall located at 1356 Broadway, New York, NY. Join us!
What’s special this year?
Well, a few things! For one, we’re going back to our roots by switching to a sit-down gala style dinner (if you’ve attended pre-pandemic, you remember!) featuring an open bar, red carpet, special guest performances & appearances, and intimate pre and post-show networking!
We’re also thrilled to present the 2024 Libera Awards Lifetime Achievement Award to Louis Posen, Founder of Hopeless Records (cheers to 30 years of Hopeless) for his years of hard work of nurturing artists and leveraging music for social change! Read all about it HERE.

The Libera Awards is one of the largest celebrations of independent music globally. It celebrates the successes of the independent music community, from the artists that create the music to the labels that release and promote it. Join us in celebrating, and supporting A2IM’s mission of providing advocacy, education, and commerce opportunities within the independent music community.
The annual A2IM Libera Awards honors both independent musicians as well as the teams that support them. Independent music encompasses all genres and styles; independent music is without constraints. It breaks barriers and crashes through glass ceilings. The Libera Awards exists to recognize the powerful voice of the independent sector. Now in its 13th year, the Libera Award is the premier celebration of independent music.
