CI Offering Help with Warner Divestments

Independent record labels and distributors are gaining divestments from Warner under the IMPALA / Merlin deal, but in order to act on the commercial deals made, there are operational challenges.

On the digital side of things, once a deal is concluded with an acquirer, Warner make the master digital assets available online for a limited time only to be downloaded and managed by the buyer.

This may prove challenging for some labels or distributors who do not have the skills or expertise in-house to gather and manage these digital assets quickly and easily.
