The Master Sessions’ collaboration brings together experts and tastemakers in the music and technology worlds, to present a series of live concerts featuring some of the UK’s leading jazz acts. Each live set is streamed in real time in MQA audio, direct from the studio to invited audiences at Bluesound’s flagship dealer stores.
Speaking about his upcoming performance for The Master Sessions, Cross comments, “Thanks to British Underground and Jazz re:freshed’s unique partnership with MQA and Bluesound, I’ve been able to revisit the music from my album Fyah and hear it again in a whole new light. A lot of work went into making this music, so to be able to hear it and play it out in such vivid sonic detail is a wonderful experience for me. One that I hope will collapse the space between what we hear in the studio, and what fans (new and old!) receive in their ears.”
