A2IM Independent Voter Guide for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards is now here!

It’s that time of year again! First round ballots for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards are available online at GRAMMYPro.com today! For members of the Recording Academy, you have until October 29th at 6pm PT/9pm ET to get your votes in. Final round voting will take place later this year in December. Learn more about this year’s Grammy voting deadlines on their website here.

We strongly encourage those of you who are both voting members of the Recording Academy and A2IM members or affiliates to vote independent. Last year independent labels and artists broke records, marking the seventh year in a row that independent labels achieved a majority of the Grammy nominations.

Once again this year we have created a guide of our independent label members who have submitted for Grammys this year for you to reference at your discretion. You can view this year’s Independent Voter Guide by clicking the link here. If your releases are missing and you would like them added, please see this posting.

If you have any questions, please contact our Marketing Manager Alexandra Rosen.

About A2IM:
A2IM is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit trade organization headquartered in New York City that exists to support and strengthen the independent recorded music sector. Membership currently includes a broad coalition of more than 700 Independently-owned American music labels. A2IM represents these independently owned small and medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs) interests in the marketplace, in the media, on Capitol Hill, and as part of the global music community. In doing so, it supports a key segment of America’s creative class that represents America’s diverse musical cultural heritage. Billboard Magazine identified the Independent music label sector as 37.32 percent of the music industry’s U.S. recorded music sales market in 2016 based on copyright ownership, making Independent labels collectively the largest music industry sector.
