Copyright Office Announces Changes

The Copyright Office has issued a final rule governing the designation of agents to receive notifications of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). These new regulations are effective as of December 1, 2016. Any service provider that has previously designated an agent with the Office will have until December 31, 2017 to submit a new designation electronically through the new online registration system.

You can visit United States Copyright Office website to read more, and watch video tutorials that will introduce you to the new system.
