Are you considering attending MIDEM in 2016 and would like to have up to $2,000 of your MIDEM expenses reimbursed?

If you answered “YES” to those questions and you are a U.S. based company, you are eligible to apply through A2IM to participate in the MDCP (Market Development Cooperator Program) funding from the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration.

The MDCP will reimburse 50% of eligible expenses (up to a $2,000 payment against $4,000 of eligible expenses) toward attendance at MIDEM 2016.  The MDCP application is HERE.  Please send completed MDCP applications to Marcus Assenmacher ([email protected]) before the MDCP deadline of Friday, May 13th, 2016. (This is the extended deadline)

MDCP Eligibility Requirements:

  • Flights to and from MIDEM must be booked on a U.S. Carrier under the Fly America Act.  More information on the FLY AMERICA ACT is HERE.
  • Hotel and meal expenses, cannot exceed Federal per diem limits.
  • Applicants must report on export success on quarterly basis for 3 years after trip (basic 4 questions to be answered).

PLEASE NOTE:  Space is limited so please apply on time.  Submitting the MDCP application does NOT obligate you to attend MIDEM 2016.  Submitting the MDCP application only alerts A2IM of your interest. Quarterly reports on export progress by participants will be due for a period of 3 years.

MIDEM will be held in Cannes, France from Friday, June 3th to Monday, June 6th (More about MIDEM HERE).   The goal of the export program is to support companies looking to expand their export businesses.

We thank our supporters at U.S. Department of Commerce ITA and MDCP for their support of our members’ export initiatives! We also thank our colleagues at Midem.
