The A2IM Board elected the following to be their 2015-2016 board officers:
President- Richard Burgess (Associate Director for Business Strategies, Smithsonian Folkways)
Treasurer- Portia Sabin (President, Kill Rock Stars)
Secretary- Martin Mills (Founder & Chairman, Beggars Group)
The new board’s term will begin on July 4, 2015.

Billboard Magazine identified the Independent music label sector as 37.32 percent of the music industry’s U.S. recorded music sales market in 2016 based on copyright ownership, making Independent labels collectively the largest music industry sector.
