RAMPD is an award-winning U.N-recognized network of recording artists and music professionals with disabilities working with the GRAMMYs, Netflix Music and others to amplify inclusion in the industry.
RAMPD.org was founded by award-winning recording artist, touring performer and personality, Lachi in 2021 after a public talk with the Recording Academy revealed not enough was being done for music professionals with disabilities and neurodivergence.
In 2023 RAMPD received Ford funding for its member-development initiatives, a Music Business Association award for its work consulting on disability equity, and a Zero Project award for bringing career opportunities to its membership through its web platform, where professional disabled talent can be sourced and hired.
Founded in 2021, RAMPD found coverage in Billboard, NYTimes and Hollywood Reporter for being a first-ever establishment bringing competitive opportunities to music creators and professionals with disabilities, neurodivergence or chronic illness.
RAMPD has partnered with the Recording Academy to pepper the annual GRAMMY Awards with high-visibility accessibility measures, including an on-screen stage ramp (used in iconic Sam Smith/Kim Petras 2023 performance), ASL on the red carpet, and live captioning.
July is Disability Pride Month!

RAMPD is a UN recognized global network of Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities who—through strategic partnerships and discussions with firms such as Netflix, Folk Alliance, SONY Picture’s Entertainment—brings disability awareness to the broader music industry. RAMPD is a fast-growing popular coaltion infiltrating pop culture with disability narratives.
