Once again Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany brings a variety of sessions, showcases and networking events to music industry professionals from all over the world. From 18 till 21 September 2019 over 5.000 professionals will have the opportunity to enjoy about 600 concerts showcases, arts programs, and 400 conference items with sessions, meetings, and awards. This year, the programme will present various topics with speakers who are outstanding in their fields. In the strand Creative Tech, for example, the bestselling author Cornelia Funke, composer, writer and multimedia artist Paul D. Miller aka DJ Spooky and scientist, music producer, and engineer Dr. Kelly Snook will share their knowledge. At our Recorded Music strand, we are happy to welcome producers (and ANCHOR Jury members) Bob Rock and Tony Visconti. They will take us on a journey to look at today’s production conditions.
The new programme strand Film & Future includes a keynote interview with Hollywood filmstar Matt Dillon in which the actor and director will share his personal views on the trends in the film landscape. The whole programme can be found here.
