A2IM members were out in force at SXSW with A2IM members on a disproportionate percentage of panels and our member’s artists creating packed shows.  The seventh annual member only breakfast was our largest ever with over 225 members in attendance, coming, going or staying for the full three hours for both A2IM scheduled and unplanned businesses meetings and networking.  We thank our member volunteers who worked the event!  (pictures below) If you missed it, see you next year!!  More events coming up, including events around NARM in L.A. starting on May 7^th and Indie Week in New York June 19th-21^st including the Libera Awards!!!, check out the A2IM website events page for more!

A2IM will be hosting our 7th Annual SXSW Breakfast on Thursday, March 15 from 9AM-12PM at The Gatehouse at Residence Inn (300 E. 4th St. between Trinity & San Jacinto, Austin, map). This event is open to ALL MEMBERS OF A2IM but you MUST RSVP.

In addition to the breakfast, as a great networking opportunity for the A2IM member community, we are also organizing One-on-One Sessions where you will have the opportunity to meet directly with our Associate Member service providers in the areas of Licensing/Publishing OR New Media/Digital Marketing. Each meeting will last approx. 10 minutes. We will have two sessions from 10-11AM or 11AM-12PM during the breakfast. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. A2IM’s annual Board of Directors election will open for voting on Monday, May 9^th (with every label member’s primary contact for A2IM possessing the right to vote).  Once again we have an exciting (and large) list of members who have stepped up or accepted nomination to run for election to the A2IM board of directors.

A2IM members will be voting to fill five seats from the below list of candidates (alphabetical by company).
