As we have discussed in previous A2IM newsletters; the DDEX organization is working on setting standards for digital distribution and communications. The World Independent Network (”WIN”) of which A2IM is a member represents the independent music label community in a number of the ongoing discussions. Keeping our members up to date here is their latest paper (Standardisation for an Automated Transaction Processing Environment in the Digital Media Supply Chain) as DDEX believes that its contents and objectives may be of interest to A2IM and its constituency.
