With sincere gratitude for the volunteerism, engagement and support demonstrated by the entire A2IM member community, we’re pleased to announce Naxos’ Randall Foster as the new A2IM chapter chair in Nashville.

Randall will be taking over the duties that have been so marvelously handled for years by A2IM Nashville stalwart, Al McCree (Comedy String Entertainment and formerly Altissimo Recordings).  There is simply no way to aptly express the deep gratitude and affection that A2IM feels for Al.

Randall has been involved in organizing several Nashville chapter events, most recently bringing a number of A2IM members into the Nashville Film-Com Synchs & Drinks cocktail mixer.  We look forward to announcing the next A2IM Nashville chapter event shortly.

It’s time for another get together! Randall Foster of Naxos would like to officially invite you to a Syncs and Drinks event at Film-Com April 18, 2013. This will take place upstairs at the Hard Rock from 5:00 to 7:00 and there is no admission charge.

Film-Com Week 2013 is an international film & television business market that takes place in Nashville from Saturday, April 13 to Friday, April 19. Participants include film and television executives from LA and New York, production companies and filmmakers from around the U.S. and international territories. The focus of Film-Com is on projects in progress, meaning that they are still in the phase of packaging actors, crew, musical score, songs and other elements of development and pre-production.

Film-Com is an annual packaging, financing and distribution market which directly connects filmmakers and their new projects to domestic and foreign distribution companies, as well as connecting all parties in the equation to P&A capital, banks, gap financing, co-production partners, packaging agents, product integration specialists and any entities related to the success of getting a film made and to market.

A2IM will present its 3rd Annual Chicago Licensing Day on Tuesday, December 4 at 6PM at the offices of Music Dealers, 328 S. Jefferson Suite 260, Chicago, map.

The panel will feature Jocelyn Brown of DDB, Matthew Jacobson of Digitas, Gabe McDonough of Leo Burnett, Marisa Wasser of McGarry Bowen, and Dan Kuypers of Music Dealers and will be moderated by Jeremy Peters of Ghostly International. Bios HERE.
