Macy’s and iHeartRadio are launching their fifth annual new music campaign to find the next Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star. The program, designed to support unsigned and independent artists, will be featured on hundreds of radio stations across the country and includes exposure on all of iHeartMedia’s platforms including: on–air, digital, social, etc. This year, the competition is open to emerging country, urban, pop and rock artists.
The campaign runs for six weeks kicking off in May. Listeners vote on their favorite music, the Rising Star winner will be featured in a multi-platform campaign, delivering millions of impressions. To top it off, the winner will receive a performance spot at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival and Jingle Ball Pre-Events.
