Macy’s and iHeartRadio are launching their fourth annual new music campaign to find the next Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star. The program, designed to support unsigned and independent artists, will be featured on hundreds of radio stations across the country and includes exposure on all of iHeartMedia’s platforms including: on–air, digital, social, etc. This year, in addition to pop and rock, they’ve opened the competition to emerging country and urban artists.
The campaign runs for six weeks starting in May. Listeners vote on their favorite music; the Rising Star winner will be featured in a multi-platform campaign, delivering millions of impressions, AND will perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September.
