Starting Dec. 4, Billboard.com will debut an updated version of the Billboard 200 chart which will incorporate on-demand audio streaming and TEA digital track sales combined with standard album sales. The new chart will treat 10 digital track downloads or 1,500 on-demand audio streams from a single album as one album sale. This methodology merges music consumption with traditional sales metrics into a single comprehensive chart. Streaming services that will be part of the calculations include Beats Music, Google Play, Medianet, Rdio, Rhapsody, Slacker, Spotify, and Xbox Music. The initial roll out will include data gathered from the week ending Nov. 30.
