Billboard and MRC Data announce DSP additions to industry and chart streaming activity – American Association of Independent Music

Billboard and MRC Data are pleased to announce the following DSP additions to industry and chart streaming activity.

Global streams from Audiomack and SoundCloud will be added to the data that informs the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excluding U.S. charts.
U.S. and Global streams from 7 Digital will be added to the data that informs the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200, Artist 100 and Billboard Global 200 charts, as well as all other Billboard U.S. and global charts that include streaming data.

All streams for Audiomack, SoundCloud and 7 Digital represent On-Demand Audio plays and are currently represented as part of the Others bucket within MRC’s Music Connect.

Data for the above services will be included in Music Connect starting on Monday, July 19 (reflecting data dating back to Friday, July 16).

The services will begin impacting the Billboard chart effective with data for the tracking week of July 23 through July 29 (Billboard charts dated August 7).
