As you are aware The Recording Academy has been very supportive of A2IM’s agenda as well as allowing A2IM to use their offices for our local chapter and licensing committee and new media committee events. The latest issue of The Recording Academy’s Capital Tracks highlights advocacy issues like the FCC voting to protect wireless microphones and the Performance Right Act where A2IM members were involved in the lobbying efforts as well as the GRAMMY’s on the Hill lobbying day and A2IM indie advocacy day where A2IM members were at the forefront.
