Wednesday, 8th May 2013: 14:00 – 17:30 – Directors I and II Rooms
Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel – 2025 Avenue of the Stars - Los Angeles, CA 90067
Digital Data Exchange, LLC (“DDEX”), in conjunction with NARM and digitalmusic.org, is pleased to announce that it is holding an Open Meeting in the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles as part of the Music Biz 2013 conference programme. As well as providing a general overview of DDEX and its standards, the meeting will focus on the subject of “Royalty and usage reporting to music publishers in the US market”. As such this meeting is a must for music publishers and digital retailers.
DDEX (www.ddex.net) is a consortium of leading media companies, music licensing organizations, digital service providers and technical intermediaries, focused on the creation of digital supply chain standards. DDEX has standardized the format in which information is represented in XML messages and the method by which the messages are exchanged between business partners to support the automated exchange of information along the digital supply chain. These standards are developed and made available for industry-wide implementation. DDEX standards help rightsholders, retailers and technical intermediaries to more effectively communicate information along the digital supply chain. This leads to efficient business transactions, reduced costs and increased revenues for all sectors involved.
The agenda will include:
• A general introduction to DDEX
• A requirements gathering session
• Agreeing next steps
A full agenda is available from www.digitalmusic.org or www.ddex.net.
Attendance is FREE of charge and you DO NOT have to be a delegate @ MusicBiz 2013 to attend
