As the music space has transformed over the past decade the changes in the ways we market and monetize music have changed and a wide diversity of opinion has arisen as to how the music space should function. In April there will be a conference, Rethink Music, and all sides on the issues will collectively get together to examine the business and rights challenges facing the music industry in the digital era. We will try to find areas of common ground and formulate solutions to improve the creation, promotion and distribution of new music and other creative works. The conference sponsors, Berklee College of Music and Midem, invite our members to come and a 25% discount rate of $595 will be available to A2IM members (normal rate is $795) through April 24th.
