Description

China Audio-Video Association (CAVA) was established on April 29, 1994. It is the only officially recognized national audio-video industrial society approved by the General Administration of Press and Publication and Ministry of Civil Affairs in the PRC. CAVA has more than 520 member units that are engaged in audio-video production, duplication, distribution and marketing. The member units include not only the largest state record corporation, audio-video press, but also the best manufacturing corporation, distribution, marketing corporation and the large chain marketing corporation. CAVA has also admitted more than 200 individual members and honorary members, who are industry experts, scholars, and famous journalists, commentators, actors and actresses.

CAVA is an industry organization for the benefit of its members and a close bridge between the government and audio-video industry. Under CAVA, there are several working committees such as distribution, record, disc, educational publishing, digital audio-video and Chinese marketing.
