Redeye Seeks Marketing Manager

Redeye is currently accepting applications for the role of Marketing Manager.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the Project Manager team. This includes regular communication with each Project Manager to review upcoming release schedules, marketing plans and label initiatives. Responsibilities also include consistent analysis of tools and processes used by the Project Managers with the intended goal to improve efficiency, transparency and reach of Marketing efforts.

Significant duties of the Redeye Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

*Provide day-to-day support and oversight of the Project Manager team
*Assign and manage label rosters for each Project Manager with specific focus on balanced workloads and optimal alignment for label needs and goals
*Utilize feedback from Project Managers along with label provided marketing detail to determine, monitor and assign priority status for physical and digital releases
*Review Marketing Plans for priority releases and provide feedback to Project Managers for both physical and digital releases
*Conduct weekly meetings with all Project Managers, Director of Marketing, Sales Manager and other meetings as assigned
*Utilize available reporting details to perform analysis on new releases and catalog to identify potential opportunities for marketing
*Maintain direct relationship with key label partners for discussions regarding priority releases, best practice compliance and utilization of Redeye marketing services
*Maintain direct relationship with key reps at Digital Service Providers to ensure updates on new marketing opportunities and a clear line for feedback
*Regular communication with Sales Manager and International Sale Manager to evaluate marketing activities and interdepartmental information flow
*Deliver monthly updates containing priority campaign notes, PM team initiatives and other news to the Director team
*Oversee recurring DSP marketing opportunities and create processes for implementation of any future initiatives
*Evaluate marketing efforts on an ongoing basis and provides recommendations and education to Project Managers and senior staff
*Provide suggestions to Marketing Director regarding new marketing strategy and technology to be implemented to improve workflow and efficiency of the Project Manager team
*Ensure all Project Managers receive and maintain adequate levels of training on Redeye internal processes and provide additional education based on new marketing activities and initiatives
*Attend local shows by Redeye artists and labels
*Represent company at other industry functions as assigned. Occasional travel may be required.
*Assist in the organization of the annual Redeye Label Hang as assigned by the Director of Sales & Label Strategy

Minimum Education & Skills
*BA or BS college diploma
*Above average interpersonal communication skills
*Ability to work in a collaborative environment
*Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot and prioritize work as required
*Focus on meeting deadlines and keeping employees engaged on a daily basis
*Strong focus on creative strategy and unique marketing concepts

Experience Requirements
*2 years of management experience or comparable work experience
*Strong background in project and process management
*Working knowledge of the Physical and Digital music marketplace
*Basic computer skills regarding email, Excel, report analysis, etc.
