The LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference) is the only major conference celebrating and supporting genres of Latin music that are left of center and forging the way Latinos, especially young, bicultural-millennial Latinos, define themselves. Hailed by The New York Times as the “Sundance of Latin music”, the LAMC is also the largest Latin music conference in the US.

The 18th annual LAMC will continue its expanded focus on a diverse array of special events dedicated to music, art and film and we’re looking for hardworking and dedicated volunteers to help us celebrate.

This is a solid opportunity to see how a music industry gathering works from the inside out. For more information about the LAMC, please visit latinalternative.com and check out this recap video: https://vimeo.com/107499998

The LAMC will take place in venues across New York City during the week of July 11-15, 2017. We’re looking for volunteers to assist in various parts of the conference, including but not limited to registration, press, production, etc.

All volunteers are unpaid and travel and accommodations are not provided. Volunteers do receive a complimentary registration giving access to all of the conference, including panels, showcases and concerts.
