What is drip.fm℠? drip.fm is a platform that connects content creators and their fans. It's also a way for content creators to earn consistent revenue, so that they have the confidence and freedom to make long term decisions. The idea was born out of a request from our fans (Ghostly International) to give them an easy and convenient way to automatically receive all of our releases, and dig into our back catalog. Is it a Store or Music Streaming Platform? It's neither. Though streaming music is part of the service, you also get to keep everything sent to you. And content creators can distribute far more than just music. Think of it like a re-imagination of the fan club. How Pricing Works for Fans Each label in the system chooses their membership fee. Fees are collected via credit card on a recurring basis. Members can cancel at any time, and any content they receive during membership is theirs to keep, forever. How Pricing Works for Labels and Artists The drip.fm platform is free for labels to use – there are no sign up costs or usage fees. We only make money if you make money, which is done through a revenue share on sales. How Much Can Labels Charge? Labels can charge any fee they wish, and distribute content as frequently as they like. How Do Artists Get Paid, and How Often? We pay our partners on a monthly basis for subscription revenue collected each month, less our service fee. How Can I Sign My Label Up? We're currently in a closed beta. Sign up at our home page to receive an invite as we begin bringing labels into the system.
