Nadler for Congress Breakfast Event (Tuesday August 21st- 8:45-10:45)

Please join A2IM and The Independent Music Community as we honor Congressman JERRY NADLER (NY-8), one of independent music’s greatest supporters!

We will be thanking Congressman Jerry Nadler for his years of support of the music creator community’s copyrights and his support of the proposed Performance Right Act to get artists and music labels compensated when their music is played on over-the air AM/FM radio. Contributions, which need to be personal contributions, not company contributions, start at $25 (and you get breakfast!) although we hope some of you will join Rich, Jim and others as hosts at the $250 level, more here.

Contributions to Nadler For Congress are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.  Federal candidates cannot accept contributions from corporations and foreign nationals.  Persons are prohibited from making contributions in the name of another person.  Political contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.  Individual and partnership limit is $2,500 per election, federal PAC limit is $5,000 per election.
