A2IM is pleased to announce that for the 8th consecutive year our members are invited to MIDEM in 2013 at the same discounted rate as we’ve been able to offer for the last few years. We’ll also once again be hosting the A2IM members’ pavilion at our same location overlooking the French Riviera (as well as our nightly member sponsored/co-hosted sunset cocktail parties). Following on the live music & showcase successes that MIDEM experienced last year, la Croissette in Cannes will once again feature live music performances during MIDEM in 2013.
MIDEM is offering the opportunity to showcase A2IM members’ artists across one, two or three nights at a cool local venue in Cannes, creating collectively what MIDEM refers to as a US Indies Embassy, click HERE to see the downloadable presentation. In order to make this happen we need a minimum of three artists per night. The average cost per band is estimated at 3,000 EUR including baseline, fees, Midem promotion and salaries in compliance with the French labor laws. If you are interested in participating, please write Jim Mahoney before the end of September, 2012. If A2IM receives enough interest from members we’ll coordinate with MIDEM and the interested members to formalize the plans.
