At A2IM Indie Week 2012, a group of over 120 independent music business senior executives from around the globe participated in the 2012 A2IM Think Tank to tackle several issues facing independent labels today. The participating execs were divided into breakout groups of 10-12 and provided their discussion topic. Each group was asked to share experiences, brainstorm general best practices, and take notes of their group’s findings. A2IM gathered those notes and used them to construct this year’s Independent Label Roadmap.
