The Obama administration has been extremely pro-copyright protection and we thank them! Last week the Administration via the office of U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement (IPEC) issued 20 legislative recommendations to Congress, designed to improve intellectual property enforcement. As noted by Victoria Espinel, the U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement Czar, these legislative recommendations exemplify the Administration’s commitment to protect and grow jobs and exports, as well as to safeguard the health and safety of our people. The full text of Ms. Espinel’s statement, which includes a link to the full list of proposals, is here.
