About the Webinar
SoundExchange & A2IM will come together to present “Q1Y10 Webinar for Labels and Sound Recording Copyright Owners,” the first installment of a series of quarterly webinars designed to open the lines of communication between SoundExchange and labels and SRCOs and provide SoundExchange’s customers with relevant information about their digital performance royalties.
In addition to bringing participants up to speed on SoundExchange’s 2009
happenings, the webinar will focus on track level repertoire claiming and
even feature a tutorial on PLAYS – the system that allows labels and SRCOs
to see their repertoire and helps SoundExchange correct bad data provided by
licensees.
Webinar participants will also be invited to engage in a Q&A forum via text messaging.
A2IM President and SoundExchange Board Member, Rich Bengloff, will be on the call as a special guest to discuss the latest independent music label advocacy issues and A2IM plans.
